This piece was developed over the course of a year long period, initiated by a photograph of Rose Williams, sister of American playwright Tennesse Williams. The original 35 mm photograph depicts Rose Williams in the period immediately following her pre frontal labotomy. Rose Williams was the muse of her brother Tennesse Williams in addition to being the inspiration for the character Laura Wingfield in The Glass Menagerie.

This is his second submission to Dollhaus II, his first was in the opening of the Dollhaus II after the long pandemic where the gallery was forced to close for over 6 months. De Casare submitted a painting to THE FVCKED UP DIZNEY group exhibition.

A HYBRID IS A COMBINATION BETWEEN TWO SPECIES, BORN FROM THE UNION OF THOSE TWO. A SURGO-WITCH HYBRID IS A SUPERNATURAL CROSSBREED BETWEEN A PURE WITCH AND A SURGO WITCH. HYBRIDS POSSESS THE ABILITIES OF WITCHES AND SURGOS AS WELL AS THEIR WEAKNESSES. THEY ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN REGULAR SURGOS, BUT ARE SAID TO BE WEAKER THAN WITCHES DUE TO THEIR SURGO HALF WITHHOLDING THEM BACK, SUCH AS THEIR INABILITY TO PRACTICE FULL EARTH MAGIC. DESPITE THIS, MANY HYBRIDS HAVE SPECIAL, UNIQUE ABILITIES NOT MANIFESTED BY PURE WITCHES.
