Deep in the woods is a mother that creeps, and her cauldron is always bubbling with horrific delight… “Finish your cheese spread Ike, it’s good for the liver!”
 
HYBRID VVITCHCRAFT Group Exhibition features original Dollhaus artists and Dollhaus II solo artists. Introducuing new artists for 2022. This is a installation site specific witchwood. That runs until Hallows Eve.
 
Frank Russo designer painter and creator of MUSCULOIDS is an original member of the first art exhibitions produced by Dollhaus from 2001-2006 during the first gallery on 37 Broadway Williamsburg in Brooklyn, specifically participating in The Terrible Toy Fairs held at CBGB's art gallery.  We are proud and excited to show his work here at Dollhaus II for the first time since we started here. Frank with his wife run and own and curate MF Gallery which started on the Lower East Side then moved to Brooklyn. 
 
 
Wander into the forest of The Dollhaus II and behold the Hybrid Witchcraft.
 
A HYBRID IS A COMBINATION BETWEEN TWO SPECIES, BORN FROM THE UNION OF THOSE TWO. A SURGO-WITCH HYBRID IS A SUPERNATURAL CROSSBREED BETWEEN A PURE WITCH AND A SURGO WITCH. HYBRIDS POSSESS THE ABILITIES OF WITCHES AND SURGOS AS WELL AS THEIR WEAKNESSES. THEY ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN REGULAR SURGOS, BUT ARE SAID TO BE WEAKER THAN WITCHES DUE TO THEIR SURGO HALF WITHHOLDING THEM BACK, SUCH AS THEIR INABILITY TO PRACTICE FULL EARTH MAGIC. DESPITE THIS, MANY HYBRIDS HAVE SPECIAL, UNIQUE ABILITIES NOT MANIFESTED BY PURE WITCHES.
